What to do in Lexington
Known worldwide, Lexington is home to the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. This racetrack is home to numerous racing events including the Vintage Grand Prix, The Honda Indy 200, and the NASCAR Xfinity Series. This racetrack sits in a beautiful wooded setting and is visited by countless thousands of race fans from around the world each year so don’t miss it.
Racing is not your thing? Not to worry, Lexington is also home to the Clearfork Reservoir. With nearly 1000 acres of water, 14 miles of shoreline, and over 1000 acres of surrounding land available for fishing camping, hiking, picnicking, and boating. This is the place to relax with friends and family enjoying a lazy day of food, fun, and nature.
While in town, be sure to visit the Richland County Museum. Dedicated to preserving the history of Richland County the museum is open to the public from May through October each year. Housed inside a circa 1850 schoolhouse, the museum displays artifacts from the 19th and 20th centuries and offers a family-friendly view of history with touchable exhibits and activities.

Also located on Main Street in Lexington, OH this family-owned coffee shop is a local favorite that offers fresh food, sweets and treats, and countless varieties and mixtures of coffee and add-ins. A special place offering not only a great menu but also a great environment, this one should not be missed on your visit.
Fun for the family
Looking for a place to take the family for a fun night out? Then “The Infield” is the place to be! Also located on Main Street in Lexington this family destination offers both Adult and Kiddy Go-Cars on a ¼ mile track. That’s not all though, there are also Batting Cages, an Indoor Video Arcade, a Playground for kids, and an 18-hole miniature golf course which is sure to test your putting skills. Open April through September this is a can’t miss spot for families.
Every August, Lexington is proud to offer the fun-filled and family-friendly Lexington Blueberry Festival. This four-day event brings parades, rides, local vendors, a classic car show, on-stage live performances, and a variety of fun events capped off by one of the largest fireworks displays in north central Ohio.
