After graduating from the University of Findlay, Alison moved to Ontario in 2001, where she taught in the Ontario school district for 15 years. The Turnbaugh family’s deep roots in the community have kept Alison’s connection to the area strong. Her husband, Nick, a graduate of Ontario High School, and their three children, all of whom attend the district, are an integral part of her life. Alison’s connection to the community is not only personal but professional—she follows in the footsteps of her mother-in-law, Connie Turnbaugh, and her husband’s grandmother, Marie Turnbaugh, both former long-time Sluss agents. “Their legacy is something I’m proud to carry on,” she says.
