About Megan

Born and raised in Richland County, Megan Scherer brings a strong work ethic, deep local roots, and a passion for helping others to her role at Sluss Realty. Growing up on her family’s farm- Springhill Fruit Farm- she learned early on the value of hard work, dedication, and community, principles that continue to guide her approach today.

After graduating from Plymouth High School in 2012, Megan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University. Her background gives her a unique ability to understand her clients’ needs, communicate effectively, and guide them confidently through every step of the buying or selling process.

Before entering real estate, Megan spent seven years as a flight attendant with Delta Air Lines, where she developed exceptional customer service skills, adaptability, and attention to detail. Most recently, she spent the past 4 years supporting individuals and providers within the Intellectual & developmental disabilities community, strengthening her advocacy skills and deepening her commitment to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

As a lifelong member of the community, Megan takes great pride in serving the area she calls home. She is a strong advocate for local families and is passionate about helping clients find not just a house, but a place to truly call home.

When she’s not working, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, their two children, and her family. She is also actively involved in the Shiloh Fireman’s Ox Roast, a beloved local tradition she has supported for over 15 years. While her love for travel has taken her around the world, Megan believes there’s no place like home, and she’s ready to help you find yours!
