About Larry

Larry has never been one to cut corners. Licensed for more than a decade, he brings a rare mix of construction know-how, investment experience, and calm client care to every transaction.

“I like the work,” he said. “I like the houses, the numbers, and the people.”

His path started at a small brokerage where he learned the basics and built a strong foundation in real estate. A short stop at a national franchise followed. It was not his style.

“I am not a dog-eat-dog guy,” he said. “I want a team that stands behind its agents and puts clients first.”

Larry first connected with Sluss while selling a large duplex he owned just north of Mansfield. He noticed how the deal was handled and how problems were solved to get it across the finish line.

“That mattered to me,” he said. “Some brokerages get rigid. Sluss focused on getting the job done for everyone involved.”

Before real estate, Larry served in the United States Army and then spent more than twenty years with the Postal Service, eventually supervising teams and solving daily problems in the field. He also worked in the building trades, remodeled homes, and owned income property.

“You should know your product,” he said. “The better you understand a house, the better you can guide your client.”

That background shapes how he serves buyers and sellers today. Larry is especially strong with first-time buyers, duplex and small multifamily purchases, and anyone rebuilding after a setback.

“I do not care if it is a one-hundred-thousand-dollar home or three hundred thousand,” he said. “Everyone deserves the same effort, the same respect, and clear guidance.”

Listening is central to his approach. He believes small fixes and clear explanations can calm big worries, whether it is credit questions, competitive offers, or prep work before listing.

“People want to know you hear them,” he said. “I line clients up with good lenders and good information so they can move forward with confidence.”

Community matters to Larry. He grew up in Greenwich, has invested in bringing neglected homes back to life, and volunteers with local improvement efforts.

“Actions speak louder than words,” he said. “If we can give, we should.”

His roots also run through Ashland and Mansfield, and his network stretches across the Cleveland area from years of work and family life.

Away from work, Larry is a proud dad and grandfather who loves time with his crew. He still keeps an eye on rehab projects, still appreciates a well-built house, and still believes optimism belongs in every plan.

“You do not have to stay where you are,” he said. “With the right help, people can get where they want to go.”

Choosing Sluss is the latest step in a career built on service, craftsmanship, and steady follow-through.

“This is a family-friendly team that supports professional work,” he said. “That is exactly how I want to serve my clients.”
