About Roni

Roni Menefee was drawn to real estate because it blends strategy, people, and possibility. She is the kind of agent who looks beyond the surface, paying attention to what a home, a property, or a neighborhood can become, and what it can mean for the people who live there.

Before earning her license, Roni built a career in banking and corporate IT, where she became known for pairing strong customer service with a clear, practical approach to problem solving. While the work was stable, she knew it was not her long term fit.

“I never loved IT,” she said. “What I brought to the table was customer service. I like helping people understand what’s really going on.”

Her interest in real estate grew through years of personal buying experiences and hands-on exposure to properties across Ohio, including property preservation work during the post recession years. Seeing older homes sit neglected and neighborhoods struggle shaped how she views housing today.

“You see how much one property can affect an entire street,” she said. “It made me think differently about value, responsibility, and potential.”

Roni is especially passionate about helping buyers who feel locked out of homeownership, including first time buyers and young adults who need education and a clear plan, not pressure. She appreciates homes with character and “good bones,” and she brings a detail focused mindset to contracts and client protection.

“A lot of people think they can’t do it,” she said. “I like helping them see a real path forward.”

Choosing Sluss Realty was a deliberate decision. Roni wanted a brokerage that offered guidance, strong support, and a culture that values doing things the right way.

“I wanted a place where I could grow, ask questions, and actually learn,” she said. “Sluss felt like a team that meets you where you are.”

Outside of real estate, Roni is creative, proudly a little quirky, and guided by faith. She loves travel, small town exploring, and the dream of owning a campground someday. Above all, she is committed to being the kind of agent she once needed.

“I want people to feel respected, informed, and protected,” she said. “No matter their price point, their story matters.”
