About Jessica

Jessica Kegley has wanted to work in real estate for years. She was drawn to the relationships, the hard work, and the chance to help people through decisions that matter to them. It is a natural fit for someone who has spent her career getting to know people, listening to what they need, and following through.

Jessica worked in banking and now works with a durable medical equipment provider. She helps customers directly and has made a point of learning other parts of the business, including billing and respiratory services. Knowing how things work helps her answer questions and explain what someone can expect, an approach she brings to buyers and sellers.

“The more I know, the more comfortable I am,” Jessica said. “I want to know a little bit about each part, so when it comes around, I know how to present it and what people can expect.”

A self-described introvert, Jessica is comfortable listening first. She gives people room to explain what matters to them, pays attention to the details, and wants them to know they can count on her to do what she says she will.

“I think you have to listen to what people really want and always follow through,” she said. “I want them to know that I am doing what they are asking me to do.”

Jessica and her husband have bought homes in very different markets, including a foreclosure they renovated in 2012. She understands the excitement of finding a home and the disappointment when one does not work out. Through both, she wants to help clients understand their options and keep moving forward.

Jessica values the support and resources available to her at Sluss Realty, as well as the brokerage’s involvement in local events and service opportunities. Both fit her desire to keep learning and be there for the people she serves.

“I may be quiet, but I am determined,” Jessica said. “I am going to give you my undivided attention and give it my all, whether I am selling your house or helping you buy one.”

Jessica grew up in Lucas, moved to the Madison area in high school, and later spent nine years in Galion before returning to Madison. She and her husband have three children and enjoy riding motorcycles together, taking trips and attending shows with a bike he built himself. Friday night card games with her grandparents are another favorite part of being close to family.
