About Todd

Todd Ivy brings a people-first approach, a strong commitment to honesty and integrity, and a decade of real estate experience to Sluss Realty.

Licensed since 2016, Todd has built his career around helping buyers and sellers navigate some of the biggest decisions of their lives. Known for his outgoing personality, straightforward communication and ability to make clients feel comfortable throughout the process, Todd believes the best real estate relationships are built on trust.

“I’m very open. I’m very honest,” Todd said. “I think people have a lot of trust that I have their best interest in mind. I will fight to get what my buyer or seller needs.”

Todd’s roots in North Central Ohio run deep. Born in Galion and raised in the Lexington area, he graduated from Lexington High School and attended The Ohio State University before serving in the United States Air Force. Stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska, Todd credits his military service with instilling values that continue to guide him personally and professionally, particularly honor, integrity, discipline and accountability.

After returning home, Todd built a career in sales, including time in the automotive industry, before pursuing an interest in real estate that had been in the back of his mind since his military days.

Over the past decade, Todd has helped clients through transactions of all kinds, from first-time purchases and family moves to land and residential sales. He particularly enjoys the moment when buyers walk into a property and realize they may have just found home.

“I think the biggest satisfaction for me is knowing that I’ve helped somebody achieve something that is the biggest purchase of their life and made them extremely happy with what they’ve bought,” Todd said.

Todd’s connection to the community extends beyond real estate. He is a longtime member of Westbrook Country Club and serves as its membership director, helping welcome new members and build the same kind of relationships that have made the club an important part of his own life.

Todd and his wife, Amy, married in 1999 and raised two sons, Jax and Austin. They are also proud grandparents to their first granddaughter, Adaline. Outside of work, Todd is an avid golfer and Ohio State fan who enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, visiting casinos, entertaining friends and family, and smoking barbecue.

After living and traveling elsewhere, Todd remains deeply committed to the community he calls home. For him, real estate is ultimately about more than houses. It is about people, relationships and helping others build a life in the place he has chosen to call home for good.

“I’m going to be here forever,” Todd said. “Until they put me in the ground, this is going to be my home. I have no plans of ever leaving. Not Westbrook, not real estate and not Mansfield, Ohio.”
