About Susan
Susan Fritz has always had a passion for homes, design, and people making real estate a natural career choice.
“I’ve loved architecture and decorating for as long as I can remember,” she said. “Even in my own home, I’m always working on projects. I love adding little surprises, like a chandelier in the kitchen or mixing old brick walls with something unexpected.”
Before real estate, Susan built a diverse career. She worked in Franklin County schools for ten years, owned her own retail business, and served in merchandising and management roles.
“Every role I’ve had has been about people,” she said. “Listening to them, helping them, and making connections. That’s what I love most, and that’s what makes real estate such a natural fit.”
Her journey hasn’t been without challenges. “Life has taught me a lot about strength and compassion,” Susan shared. “Between health challenges in my family and personal losses, I’ve had to lean heavily on my faith. Those experiences have deepened my empathy and understanding, and I want to bring that same compassion to my clients.”
Transparency and honesty are at the heart of Susan’s approach. “I’m very straightforward,” she said. “If a home needs changes or a price adjustment, I’m not afraid to have that conversation. Clients deserve the truth. I want them to know I’m someone they can trust.”
Her eye for design also sets her apart. “I can walk into a home and immediately see what needs to be done,” she said. “Whether it’s staging, decluttering, or helping clients highlight the flow of their house, I know how to make a property shine.”
Susan loves helping sellers prepare their homes and guiding buyers who may feel overwhelmed. “Real estate can seem complicated, but I love breaking it down step by step,” she said. “I want clients to feel empowered and supported from start to finish.”
When she’s not working, Susan pours her energy into her community. She founded a local TNR program that has helped hundreds of cats, is active in the Crestline Garden Club, and often leads craft workshops. “I love serving,” she said. “Whether it’s through real estate, community projects, or even teaching someone how to make a wreath, giving back fills me with joy.”
For Susan, joining Sluss Realty was an easy choice. “The teamwork and support here are incredible,” she said. “I wanted to be part of a brokerage that believes in its people and its community.”
At the end of the day, Susan’s motivation is simple. “Life is too short not to live fully,” she said. “I want my clients to feel cared for, to know they have someone in their corner, and to enjoy the process of finding the place they’ll call home.”
