About David

David Dunn brings a hands-on perspective to real estate that naturally connects with buyers and sellers across North Central Ohio. With years of experience renovating, buying, selling, and staging homes, David offers clients far more than transactional knowledge. He brings practical insight, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping people navigate major decisions with confidence.

After spending 15 years with Chase Bank, David and his husband transitioned into full-time home renovation and investment work, building a successful business flipping homes throughout the region. Real estate became a natural extension of that experience, combining his love for design, problem-solving, negotiation, and relationship building into a career centered around helping others.

“I liked my job, but I didn’t love my job,” David shared. “Real estate, renovation, getting my hands dirty, being creative… that’s where my passion is.”

Licensed since 2021, David has worked with a wide range of clients and understands that every situation is different. Whether someone is buying their first home, relocating, searching for more space, or preparing to sell in a competitive market, he focuses on creating an experience that feels approachable, personalized, and honest from the start.

“I think the biggest thing for me is being able to meet people where they are,” he said. “Every client is different, and I try to personalize the process to each person and build a real connection with them.”

Originally from southeastern Ohio, David now lives in the Galion area with his husband and their three dogs after relocating from Columbus in search of more space, a slower pace, and a stronger sense of community. That move reinforced something he values deeply when helping clients today: finding a home that truly fits the way someone wants to live.

David’s background in renovation and staging gives clients an added advantage throughout the process. He enjoys helping buyers look beyond surface details and recognize a home’s potential, while also helping sellers understand presentation, marketability, and strategic improvements that can strengthen interest and offers.

“Sometimes people just need help fitting the pieces together,” David explained. “I love helping someone look at a space differently and realize what it could become.”

Outside of real estate, David and his husband enjoy home renovation projects, home staging, antique shopping, and finding unique pieces that blend old character with modern style. That creativity and vision naturally carry over into the way David approaches real estate every day.
