Anita Fidler believes homeownership should feel possible, even for the people who think it’s out of reach.

After spending more than 40 years as a nurse, Anita built her career around helping others through some of life’s most stressful and emotional moments. Today, she brings that same compassion, patience, and determination into real estate, guiding buyers and sellers with honesty, consistency, and genuine care.

“I just like to help people,” Anita says. “I want my clients to know I’m going to keep showing up for them, keep encouraging them, and help them through the process every step of the way.” “I think so many people feel lost right now and feel like homeownership isn’t obtainable, but it is.

Originally raised in Morrow County and now a longtime Ontario resident, Anita understands both the small-town connection people value and the importance of having trusted professionals in your corner. Before real estate, she served in nearly every area of nursing, including leadership roles and traveling as a frontline nurse during COVID. Those experiences taught her how to stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and advocate for people when they need it most.

“I’ve learned how important consistency is,” Anita says. “Real estate isn’t just about showing someone a few houses and walking away if something doesn’t work out. I want people to know I’ll keep working alongside them until we figure it out together.”

Anita is especially passionate about helping first-time buyers, young adults, and families who may not realize there are programs and opportunities available to help them become homeowners. She believes real estate is about more than transactions. It’s about helping people build stability, confidence, and a future of their own.

“I want people to know there’s always hope,” she says. “Sometimes people just need someone willing to encourage them and help them take the next step.”

Outside of real estate, Anita and her husband Tom own Pro One Electric & Generators. She’s also an avid animal lover with a passion for antiques, home design, furniture restoration, and staging spaces with character and warmth.

“Staging and design is my soul,” Anita says. “I’ve always loved seeing the potential in a home and helping people picture what it could become.”

Whether she’s helping a first-time buyer navigate the process, assisting someone through a major life transition, or walking through a home imagining its possibilities, Anita’s goal is simple: to treat people with kindness, respect, and the level of care she would want for her own family.
