About Char
Char Carson found “home” and she loves helping others find the same.
After moving between four states in 10 years and renting, Char and her family planted roots and purchased a home in North Central Ohio.
“I have a true desire to help people find a home just being in a military family and knowing what it’s like to move around so much,” she said. “We’ve never owned until now.”
Outside of real estate, Char has worked in food service for many years and currently works at the Richland School of Academic Arts as the food service director.
“I absolutely love working with kids and introducing them to new foods and nutrition,” she said. “A lot of our Mansfield kids don’t have access to fresh fruit and veggies, so I truly love being able to help feed them.”
Ohio is home for Char, as she grew up in Akron. She is currently living in Galion with two beautiful girls who attend Ontario Local Schools.
“I love the small-town feel here,” she said. “There is definitely more of a sense of community than what I’ve experienced in bigger cities.”
When she’s not working, Char enjoys taking her kids to sports. She shared that her younger daughter takings riding lessons in Madison and her oldest plays softball.
“Outside of work, you can pretty much find me at the stables or the softball fields. Lots of dirt,” she joked.
Char also enjoys reading, spending time at Starbucks and Barnes N Noble and Crossroads Church.
She loves working with all clients, but, in particular, those who truly need it.
“I just really care about people,” she said. “It’s more about helping the single mom stop renting and find a place for her and her children. Those are my favorite moments.”
