The special, diverse background of our newest Sluss team member will undoubtedly make him an incredible agent.

Growing up in Apple Valley, Cody Boroff said some of his earliest memories were on construction sites.

“My whole family basically works in construction,” he said. “My uncle owns Haven Builders and my cousin owns MML Family Homes. I’ve done everything from digging basements to going to closings. I’ve worked at both companies. 95% of the homes we built were in Knox County.”

Cody also grew up mowing lawns.

“When I was a little kid, I went around the neighborhood and mowed six yards in one summer,” he said. “As an adult, I remembered enjoying that and decided to start my own business.”

Grizzly Lawncare was a success for six years before Cody decided to take all of his talents and turn his focus to real estate.

With an incredible amount of knowledge of homes and the know-how to operate his own business, Cody truly has all of the skills to be a first-class REALTOR.

Cody continues to reside today in Apple Valley with two young kids and his girlfriend.

“It’s a great place to live,” he said. “What makes what I’m doing even more special is the ability to serve my neighbors. It makes things that much easier. I feel more comfortable just knowing how great and down-to-earth the people are here.”

When he’s not working, Cody enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors. He loves deer hunting, vacationing, fishing and hopes to one day own a farm.

When asked why he chose Sluss, Cody said, “I wanted a brokerage with a great name and Sluss has a great reputation. After my first meeting there, I knew that’s where I was going to go.”
