Justin Blair’s journey into real estate began with flipping houses, a hands-on family project that sparked a deeper interest in the industry. After completing several renovations, that interest quickly grew and ultimately led him to become a licensed real estate agent. While he still enjoys the renovation side, what he values most about real estate is helping others navigate the process of buying or selling a home with confidence and clarity.

“What really stuck with me was getting to guide people through something so important,” he said. “Helping someone find a home, making sure they feel informed and supported every step of the way, that’s what makes it all worth it.”

For Justin, real estate is all about understanding the client. “I start by asking what their needs are. Then I do everything I can to meet those needs and help them reach their end goal. They’re in the driver’s seat. I’m here to help them get where they want to go.”

He especially enjoys the excitement that comes with reviewing offers and working through negotiations. “Those moments of success with my clients, when they feel that win, that’s the most fulfilling part.”

When searching for the right brokerage, Justin knew he wanted to align with a company that provided strong resources and support. “I did a lot of research. Sluss stood out. The marketing tools, the office support, and the way they help their agents grow, that really appealed to me.”

A lifelong Ashland resident, Justin is proud to continue serving his hometown while also working with clients in nearby communities like Jeromesville, Loudonville, and Perrysville. “I’ve loved seeing how Ashland has grown over the years. The downtown area, the new developments, all of it has been exciting to watch.”

Outside of real estate, Justin stays busy coaching youth sports including soccer, baseball, and basketball. When he’s not working with clients or on the field, he’s spending time with his wife, their three kids, and their two dogs. As a family, they enjoy cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Cleveland Browns, as well as the Columbus Crew.
