About Derek

His passion for real estate coupled with his love for people are just two of the reasons Derek Beck is an incredible agent.

 “I’ve always loved real estate ever since I was little,” he said. “All we watch is HGTV and the Magnolia Network. But the main thing is, I just really enjoy helping people and I’ve always loved house shopping.”

Derek has also spent the last 16 years demonstrating the lengths of his hard work, dedication and attention to detail to the community through his lawn care business, D’s Lawn Care.

“If I’m not happy with how the job looks, I won’t leave. I treat other lawns like I would treat my own,” he said. “That’s my name on it and that means everything to me. I want people to feel like they’re family.”

Derek was proudly born and raised in Galion, playing basketball, football and baseball throughout school.

“I love the small-town feeling there,” he said. “You really do feel like you know everyone. We still go to all the football games. I’m still a huge supporter of local sports.”

Derek said he’s an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, golfing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his wife of nearly 21 years. 

“Family is huge for me,” he said. “I’m also a huge Browns, Buckeyes and Cavs fan.”

He also has a passion for dogs and stressed that faith plays a big role in his life.

He said, “I believe God put me here to serve and help people. I love to interact with people and believe my ability to connect with just about anyone will be a great tool in real estate. I really enjoy making people laugh and seeing them smile. I want clients to feel like family and know I will always be here to help them before and after the transaction. Buying or selling your house can bring up a lot of different emotions and I want to help make the process as easy and as comfortable as possible. I look forward to guiding clients through their real estate journey.”
